蒲种八支观音殿坐落于蒲种区已有30年。主席梁建生表示，该殿最主要的工作之一就是对益智华小提供协助。
该殿的最大型活动为观音诞流水宴，会在每年农历的二月十九、六月十九、九月十九举办。除此之外，每个星期二及四的晚上8点，该殿也提供场地让附近的居民前来学习智能气功，目前共有30余名学生。
此外，该殿从4年前开始推行义诊服务。梁先生表示，虽然义诊的时间是定在每逢星期一的7:30pm到9.30pm，但是很多时候都会延迟到十点多过后才休息。目前来帮忙义诊的共有7人，他们都是从中国厦门医科大学毕业的。梁先生表示，除了为居民做身体检查之外，他们也免费派发成药给他们，而这些成药都是从中国入口的。
任何有兴趣帮忙或者参与的公众人士，都可以在开放时间到观音殿进行洽询，或是直接联络梁先生。
